How do ordinary nail colors corrode polystyrene?
Ordinary nail color contains hazardous chemical solvents like toluene, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol that corrode polystyrene. The solvents are more dangerous, the polystyrene is corroded faster.
Are nail colors that corrode polystyrene harmful to nails?
The solvents able to corrode polystyrene mean the composition contained in the solvents are dangerous. Although nails and polystyrene have complete different composition, why subject your nails to prolonged and repeated exposure to these solvents.
